Beyoncé’s Publicist Asks for Photos to be Removed from Websites



Beyoncé’s publicist has been e-mailing websites and image hosting sites asking for the removal of some of the less flattering pictures, with results that are, of course, not optimal. 

Singer Beyoncé provided the halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl on Sunday – and as is the case with these large public performances, a number of photos have made their way to the Internet. Some of these photos are a little less flattering than others.

Suspected Attackers Of Emir of Kano Arrested By JTF

Three persons were arrested during a raid at the hideout of suspected terrorists in the Dorayi quarters in Kano State.
One of those arrested is suspected to be the mastermind behind attack on the Emir of Kano’s convoy, which led to the death of four of his aides and injured two of his sons. 

Security forces recovered four AK-47 rifles and many rounds of ammunition.
At the time of this report, the operation is still on-going. Sources have revealed that the hideout was pulled down following the raid.

The Emir, Ado Bayero, is currently receiving treatment in London, alongside his two sons and his aides. He had reportedly received glass cuts to his forehead from the wind shield of his car during the attack.

A Nigeria Al-Qaeda fighter arrested in northern Mali

Malian forces have arrested eight suspected al-Qaeda-linked fighters in northern Mali.
Their capture comes as French fighter jets targeted rebel hideouts and fuel depots in the northeastern desert on Tuesday, near the Algerian border.
 The eight suspects captured in Gao are expected to be transferred to Bamako where they will eventually stand trial. They include six Malians, a Nigerian and an Algerian man.

At last, the former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
Orji Uzor Kalu was the governor of Abia State, Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. Prior to his election as governor he was Chairman of the Borno Water Board and of the Cooperative and Commerce Bank Limited.
